August 25, 2022 - The Red Creek Century School District hosted multiple summer programs through the 21st Century Learning Center Grant. This was the sixth year of the program. More than 130 Red Creek students were involved.

The program offered daily STEM activities, crafts, recreation, ELA and swimming lessons. Special events included roller-skating parties, Dan the Magic Man’s performances and balloon animal classes, and tie dye days with Marnie Meddaugh.

All campers grades K-5 participated in “One School, One Book” program during Camp. This program included crafts and activities along with everyone reading “Nim’s Island”.  This program culminated with the Camp watching the movie version of “Nim’s Island” and enjoying a popcorn party.

The 21st Century Learning Center Grant is also responsible for dozens of programs throughout the school year. Details on Fall programs are still being worked out. Information will be announced and posted on the district’s website, rccsd.org, under the Community Center tab.
