150+ Runners Race in First Ever Color Run at RCCSD

May 10th, 2023 - The Red Creek Yearbook Club held its first ever Color Run at the Red Creek Central School District on Saturday, May 6th. More than 150 runners came out for the race. Runners donned their white t-shirt as they ran through different color powders during checkpoints of the race.

This event was no small feat and took over a year in the making from concept to final event. The event was organized by Co - yearbook advisors Nicole and Ryan Czeck and the yearbook club students. Food trucks, raffles and bounce houses were also on hand. The plan is to host this event annually to help raise money for the Middle School and High School yearbook, to make it cheaper for families.
